Baby Mallard Chicks Scurrying Around Shore Line.
Baby Mallard Chicks scurrying around the shoreline of Damariscotta Mills while the tide was out. They were looking for stuff to eat. The mother was a few hundred yards away swimming around like she didn’t have a care in the world. She later came over and collected them all before heading back inland to a grassy field. It was almost like she knew feeding time was over. These little guys blended in really well with the rocks, many times I lost track of them. It was only while recording I could keep track of at least one.
